Naiko's Room is a RPG Maker pshychological horror game mainly focused on telling a story of isolation, weird books, nightmares, shaky friendships, pills and memories torn apart.
Follow a young, pathetic girl inside a cold and unfamiliar room, as she does her daily routine. That's it, nothing more, nothing less, make a relaxing living with the few things that you can do, and everything will be okay... Let's just hope she can remember her.

Currently this game is a work-in-progress, and only the DEMO is availble. Some things may change in the full release.
The DEMO is 20-30 minutes long and has only 1 ending.
The content warnings are in the game. Please read them, and don't play this game if you find such subjects disturbing or if you're in a bad place mentally. Keep in mind that this is a psychological horror game, and it might go over some serious subjects.
This is my first game made in RPG Maker ;; I am still experimenting with the program and with game making in general. This whole game is kind of a learning experience for me. Hopefully the Full Version will be more polished.

An Interesting RPG Maker game! Can't wait to see more in the full version.
I loved playing this game!! It was fun and I genuinely cannot wait for the full game. Some of the jumpscares actually got it. The gameplay in the room really acentuates the repetitiveness of Lucy's routine. The pinpricks of their past and their relationships. I'm sitting here in this conner waiting for the next update.
I am not a big fan of jumpscares but this game has some good ones and also the other kind of horror that is really unsettling to experience, I really enjoyed reading the stories on the books, I don't think anyone would like to skip that, except maybe on a second play trough.
I am surprised that, with this being your first game, you already nailed so much of what makes a good RPGMAKER horror experience, including how to pace the story, a nice cliffhanger for a demo and a good antagonist, Naiko is really enigmatic and Timmy (In hand form) is somehow charming.
I would love to see more of those unsettling memories, some enemies and maybe some puzzles on the full game, it would be interesting.
I noticed a few typos here and there but it is understandable with this being your first game and a demo, I know other things take priority during the learning experience and that's totally OK, it was nothing immersion breaking.
Anyway. I'll be waiting for the full release, keep the good work!

looks great! i love what you did with the tileset. a simple change to the defaults, but effective.
